The gap between these neighboring nations mirrors the growing gulf between the privileged and powerless worldwide and testifies to the brokenness and injustice of our world.It is across this great chasm that Beyond Borders works, building understanding and solidarity between the wealthy and the poor. As we do, we discover a surprising truth, that the materially poor are often spiritually and culturally rich while the wealthy are often poor in non-material ways. We all grow richer, though, when we reach beyond what divides us. Together we find new meaning for our lives and the strength to build a world where God's peace and justice reign.
