The building is almost one hundred years old but it was recently renovated, however the traditional structure and the feel of the building have been beautifully preserved.The apartment is the ideal choice if you are travelling on a budget and would like to do some catering. The space itself is small, but it is sunny and at a walking distance to the main attractions. It has a modern fitted kitchen, a balcony and a terrace with beautiful plants, where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast. The bedroom is small but it has an en-suite bathroom with shower, basic furnished but private. It looks onto the terrace which has an amazing view over a courtyard and the city bellow. Both bedroom and the living room are equipped with air conditioning. The living room balcony looks out to the river and other historical buildings. The street is cobblestoned and leads to the Canadian Embassy, and is very close to the Estrela Basilica and the gardens of Estrela. Please note that because of the building\'s old structure it has not been possible to add a lift, this apartment is therefore not suitable for people who might have difficulty climbing stairs.
