Levendi's is a 7-acre private and gated country estate on the shores of the Ionian island of Ithaca. Perched on a hillside and having spectacular sea views, this organic olive oil producing estate includes four houses, each set into its own fragrant gardened terraces, a swimming pool, holistic massage pavilion and outdoor amenities. Levendi's offers you a luxury, family-friendly and romantic destination where quality and hospitality are the abiding hallmarks. Two principles guided our idea to add accommodation to the terraced olive groves which were Levendis. We wanted to create a holiday destination for world travellers that provided all the comforts and facilities familiar to them. And to ensure that this work would honor and respect Ithaca's natural geographic beauty and the richness of its flora. In this way our work and your holidays on Ithaca would have a positive affect on our environment.Our idea began smoldering during years of holidaying in Greece with our children. The countryside more... and the islands of our ancestral country had enchanted us, and with each return we dreamed of finding the destination we thought would be an ideal combination for our holidays - the perfect 'cross-over'. We did find comfort, facilities and services but only in city-based international hotels and larger island resorts, which lacked intimacy with Greece and its people. And we found countryside and islands with boundless variety in scenery, foods and flora, but without the services we sought.As the ideal destination couldn't be found, we decided to create it at Levendis, the site of our family's olive groves. Combining our business experiences of building, design, and owning a restaurant, with a long held joy of growing organic foods and gardening, over the next few years work began on Levendis Estate.Ten years on, we're confident that after your first holiday at Levendis you will feel that you've found your ideal holiday home. Three local families work year round to care for your home, its gardens, groves, forests and facilities, and the environment that we all share and enjoy each day. Your holiday home is secluded, in the countryside, yet on an island, by the sea, with panoramic views from your terraces. The bedlam of life is peeled away – no televisions, air conditioning, nothing which creates noise. What remains is absolute peace, tranquility, geographic beauty and pure foods. Along with our new al-fresco holistic pavilion for massage, all is here to ensure you are able to thoroughly detoxify body and soul, and enjoy a part of life where there are no cares at all. After days of fun, spent on the sea, by the pool or exploring the island, followed by long Mediterranean evenings, the soothing rhythm of waves lapping the cliffs below will guarantee you drift into a deep and easy sleep every night.Our regular guests are enchanted by the essence of Levendis, and we invite you to share it with us. Our guiding philosophy remains concentrated on your comfort, your fun and your total enjoyment of precious holiday days spent within the natural beauty and tranquility that is Levendis.

Seasonally based attractions include spring wildflower walks, more serious trekking along the island's mountain pathways, and cycling; summer seaside activities include snorkelling, scuba diving, boating, private catamarine trips to nearby deserted islands, crewed yacht charter, marine biology excursions, boat daytrips for BBQ's on quiet beaches. Picnic hampers are provided. Traditional festivals are held during July and August. Alternatively, do what many guests do - stay 'in' and re-charge your soul - organic meals to order, meditative massage, spend an afternoon in the shade of the forest swinging in a hammock with favourite books on hand, enjoy a day by the salt-water infinity pool with the vista of a wide bay below and dine under the stars at our outdoor dining room and kitchen.

Tariffs include full travel advice service & private transfers between Kefallonia airport and Levendis. All guests are provided with four-door a/c sedans, with our compliments; and each day guests are invited to select from baskets of fresh organic garden produce and breads.

Minimum reservation is 7 days; ,reservations accepted for any number of days exceeding seven; and preference given to reservations of l4 days or more.
A 20% deposit is required to confirm reservations and account balances are payable 60 days prior to holiday.
