Description:
Vista Guapa is a beautiful surf camp for surfers of all skill levels. The surf camp resort is run by Alvaro Solano, the six-time national surfing champion of Costa Rica. Alvaro and the welcoming staff of Vista Guapa work alongside our guests as guides for advanced surfers to the best surf breaks in the surrounding area, as surf instructors for beginner and intermediate surfers, and as tour guides for one of the most beautiful places in the world – Costa Rica. Vista Guapa is located in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica, an ideal vacation spot with easy access to some of the best surf breaks on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.
The Beginner Surf Package includes:
* Air-conditioned accommodations
* Airport transfers from the San Jose airport
* Five surf lessons led by our nationally ranked staff, usually 2-3 hours and includes board rental
* Full breakfast & dinner daily
* A day of rest mid-week with a trip to one of Costa Rica's beautiful more... national parks
Typical Day*
(Note: illustrative only; actual times change depending on the tides)
8:30am – Full Costa Rican breakfast
10:30am – Surf lesson
2:00pm – Taxi to Jaco (typically around $2-$3) for lunch, shopping, Internet cafe, etc*
4 – 7:00pm – Leisure time for canopy tours, horseback riding, yoga, massages or watching experienced surfers in evening session
7:30pm – Dinner at one of the local restaurants (cost included in package)
* On “rest day” which is typically mid-week, one of our staff will lead you on an informative tour through one of Costa Rica's exotic national parks. Non-surfers are welcome to join the excursion.
