Description:

Over eight days, adventurers have the opportunity to witness some of the more amazing aspects of the Arctic’s ice flows as they migrate south. You'll fly over the Bonavista Peninsula, hike or walk the coastal trails offering iceberg views and even have a chance to explore from the water. If the weather is right you can even SCUBA dive in the surreal arctic waters.

With ICE, like all CapeRace adventurers, the specific itinerary is yours. We provide you with trail recommendations and options, an interpretive guide should you decide to use one, a fully stocked fridge, and two newly restored coastal homes: Hipditch House in St. John's (just minutes from downtown) and the Thomas Mouland House in Bonavista's historic Mockbeggar neighbourhood. Tips and notes on cultural activities, restaurants, and other wildlife sights are offered via the "Traveller's Diary" if you want to augment your adventure. But keep in mind—the choices are all yours, whether it's dining in, staying more...

Conditions:

All tours and activities taken outside of the CapeRace Cultural Adventures Inc. tour are undertaken at the risk and expense of the traveller. The tour is a cultural adventure that will take you to remote areas which may not offer all of the conveniences/services found at home. Personal insurance is mandatory—and not included. Trip is not recommended for persons with small children. Be sure to ask lots of questions if you have critical needs or certain services that are generally available in urban centers.
