Description:
Day 1:
Arrive in Irkutsk, transfer to Baikal (65 km from Irkutsk to Listvyanka village)
Check into hotel.
Take a rest before lunch. After lunch walk on the Baikal shore.
In evening we offer a Siberian sauna.

Day 2:
After breakfast we visit a few museums. One day trip to Taltsy museum, the open-air museum of Siberian traditional architecture. Numerous old wooden buildings from villages in the Angara valley which were flooded after the construction of the Bratsk Dam and Ust-Ilimsk Dam, have been transported to the museum and reassembled there. One of the centerpieces of the collection is a partial recreation of the 17th-century ostrog (fortress) of Ilimsk, which consists of the original Spasskaya Tower and the Church of Our Lady of Kazan transported from the flooded ostrog in the mid-1970s, to which an exact modern copy of another tower of the ostrog and the southern wall of the fortress were added more... in the early 2000s.

Day 3:
One day trip by dog sled and snowmobile. You will go through the snow-covered taiga. We organize a picnic for lunch. Everybody can experience snowmobile and dog’s sledding this day.

Day 4:
Departure to Tunka valley, 250 km from Listvaynka by picturesque road, most of time by Baikal shore. Check into guest house on arrival and explore the village. Today, we visit small Buddhist temple – Datsan.

Day 5
We have an active program today. Canyoning (ice climbing).
In the course of the program, all participants are provided with professional gear (climbing harness, grapplers, ice axes). Ice axes, dynamic ropes are used for route preparation. You are accompanied by professional speleologist instructors. No special skill is required, no life/health risks involved in the program. Our instructor explain all the trek details, you get the gear. We cover about 10km in total.

Day 6
We take a tour to Tunkinskaya valley. We visit the most beautiful spots, such as a solar observatory. We reach the settlement of Zhemchug (Rus. Pearl) by evening.
The settlement is remarkable with its healing thermal springs and mud baths on the picturesque bank of the Irkut River. The Zhemchug spring was discovered in 1954, when a 1024-meter-deep well was drilled in 1.5km away from the settlement. Methane thermal water was found at the depth of approximately 700 meters. The spring self-streams now, its water temperature +38ºC (100ºF).
Accommodation in a guest house.
Night bathing in the thermal springs. You revel in the contrasting temperatures, air below and water above zero. This night deep relaxation and sound sleep are guaranteed.

Day 7
After breakfast we leave for Irkutsk. We get lunch on the way. Check into hotel and go on city excursion in the evening.

Transfer to airport for your departure. (Different Baikal winter tours can be connected after this tour or you can extend your holiday in Baikal Lake)
