Description:
Day 01. Arrival in Surabaya – Drive to Mt Bromo area
Upon your arrival in Surabaya, meet & greet by us then drive to Mt Bromo. Arrive at Mt Bromo area and check-in hotel.
Day 02. Mt Bromo & Peak of Penanjakan Sunrise – Drive to Ijen Crater area (incl. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
At 3.30 in the early morning you'll be wake up and the Jeep will bring you to the world’s most famous view point at Mt Penanjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise (if we're lucky) with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background.
Afterward the adventure continue to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 step of stairs (Horse ride is optional). Afterwards we proceed to the "untouch" area of Bromo which is The Whispering Savannah, you'll find yourself like in the middle of nowhere while enjoying all of the greeneries, then the Jeep will bring you back to hotel for breakfast and re-packing.
And then up to more... Licin village near by Ijen crater. Once we reach the area, proceed to hotel for check-in and overnight. Lunch box is provided while Dinner will be served at Guest House.
Day 03. Ijen Crater soft trekking – Kaliklatak Plantation – Drive to Kalibaru village (incl. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Trekking = 3 km // Duration = 4 hours
Distance = 95 km // Duration = 2,5 – 3 hour
After breakfast, check-out and start Ijen (2,400 m) Excursion. We drive to Pal Tuding, the last monitoring station, from which you supposed to take a-3 km trek to the crater. This volcano offers a savannah landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow crater-lake. The summit of Mt. Ijen is a gorgeous crater filled with haunting turquoise-blue lake with its surface streaked in the wind blow patterns of yellow sulfur vapor. By the crater edge, there is an evil-smelling sulfur where local people digging and carrying 70-80 kilos on their bare shoulders for 2 miles ascending and descending steep Mt. Ijen wall.
Upon completion of the tour we will continue driving to Kalibaru village with stop at Kaliklatak Plantation for quick sightseeing.
Once we reach Kalibaru, proceed to Margo Utomo Hillview cottage for check-in and overnight.
Day 04. Kalibaru – Piket Nol – Oro-oro Ombo – Drive to Malang (incl. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast at hotel, we will check-out and drive to Malang via Piket Nol scenic route.
We can even see the view of Mt Semeru eruption from Oro-oro Ombo village.
Once we reach Malang, we will proceed to hotel for check-in and overnight.
Day 05. Malang – Batu resort – Mt Kelud observatory – Drive to Sarangan (incl. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Distance = 255 km // Duration = 6-7 hour
After breakfast & check-out from hotel. Start to Visiting Batu resort, Batu is resort area in East Java that located on the foothill of Mt Arjuno and it has superb mountain scenery, a cool climate and has a scattering of nearby attractions; such as: Apple Plantation, Cubanrondo Waterfall; the beautiful waterfall on the slope of Mount Panderman resort; Singosari Temple, which was built on 1292AD to memory the King of Kartanegara (the last King of Singosari) and Selorejo; which is a recreational park that surrounded by hills and mountains with a beautiful panorama & fresh air. Continue our trip to Mt Kelud. We will enjoy beautiful panorama along the way up to Mt Kelud. From here we will have to walk along 110 meters long tunnel and then trekking up to the crater rim (20-40 degree of elevation - 350 meters long). After enjoying beautiful panorama at the peak of Mt Kelud we continue our trip to Sarangan where we will stay for one night.
Day 06. Sarangan – Return back to Surabaya (incl. Breakfast)
After breakfast from hotel, check-out and drive to Surabaya where you will continue your own trip to any part of Indonesia.
