Description:

To stand at the foot of the tallest mountain in the world is a dream for many people. At D’Tours, we can make that dream come true by putting your feet on the right trail to take you to this magical place where you can reach out and touch the Khumbu Ice Fall that marks the beginning of the climb up this majestic mountain. The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the classic treks in the world, allowing you to get up close and personal with the stunning beauty and friendly local people that inhabit this region. A side trip up to Kala Pattar will give you an unforgettable view of Mount Everest. The trekking tail is signature Nepal, very up and down “Nepalese Flat” as we like to say. Everest is a holy mountain in Nepal and is called Chomolongma by the Sherpa’s which means “Goddess of the winds” and Sagarmatha by the Nepalese “The forehead in the sky” or the “churning stick for the ocean of existence”. Everest is more than the tallest mountain in the world; it means a whole more...
