The Artists' Atelier Tour is intended for the general public, art lovers, and visitors interested in buying local contemporary art. It is an unique opportunity to meet both emerging and established artists in the intimacy of their studios.
They will pick you up at your hotel, and visit four artists´ studios in a neighborhood renowned for its high concentration of galleries and studios. Visitors have the opportunity to see what the artist is working on, ask what inspires the artist, or hear the story behind a piece the guest may find particularly interesting, for example. The possibilities for dialogue are infinite. The tour is led in English by an art gallery owner, ensuring that guests receive personalized, professional attention throughout the tour.
The tour concludes with a cocktail luncheon at a private exhibition space and studio in Palermo Soho, where guests can socialize, view more works from the gallery's collection and make their decision to purchase more... any of the works.
The mission at Artists´ Atelier Tour is to bridge the gap between the artist and the audience, deepen the connection between the artist and art buyer and offer visitors an insider’s look at contemporary Argentine art. We find that our visitors and our artists form relationships that transcend the typically anonymous encounters in galleries and museums.
Tango lessons: classes are bilingual, and concentrate on the music, embrace, connection, improvisation, and sensuality of tango milonguero, the most popular and traditional style of the Buenos Aires milongas.
