Description:
Day 1. Arrival in Jakarta - Transfer in
Upon arrival in Jakarta Airport, meet & greet by our guide then he will escort you to your hotel in Jakarta for check-in and overnight. Casual discussion and briefing about the upcoming tour program will be done in the hotel.
Day 2. Old Batavia and New Jakarta Tour (incl. Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, we will start today's city tour featuring the impression about Jakarta old time and current situation. Our tour will visit following sites:
Kota Intan Drawbridge which was built in the 18th century, Sunda Kelapa Harbor a 500 year old harbor which was a vital link to the markets of the outside world for the 15th century kingdom of Pajajaran, Fatahillah Museum which was built in the 16th century act as one of the most solid reminders of Dutch rule to be found in Indonesia and continue to visit The National Museum, built in 1862 with its finest collection and finish our tour in Jakarta Central Business Districts. more... Upon completion we return back to hotel.
Day 3. Jakarta - Bogor Presidential Palace & Botanical Garden - Puncak Highland Tea Plantation - Drive to Bandung (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
Today we check-out from our hotel in Jakarta and leave Jakarta to neighbouring town of Bogor or which was famed as Buitenzorg back then. In Bogor we will visiting Bogor Presidential Palace and Botanical Garden. The palace is noted for its distinctive architectural, historical, features, as well as the adjoining botanical gardens. It was built in 1744 and since then act as a country retreat for the ruler of the country. We also will visit Puncak Highland with its scenic tea plantation before continuing our tour to Bandung "Parijs van Java" for check-in and overnight.
Day 4. Bandung Volcano Tour with Angklung Mang Udjo Performance (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast, we will touring up north out of city to visit Lembang the cool town located not too far from Bandung to try fresh milk. We also will visit Mt Tangkuban Perahu an active volcano to enjoy the scenery before returning back to Bandung. Afternoon we will watch traditional angklung performance at Saung Angklung Pak Udjo in Padasuka Village. The other performance like Wayang Golek, Tari Topeng plus an opportunity to play angklung together with school age childs will be done. Upon completion we return back to hotel.
Day 5. Bandung - Yogyakarta by Train (incl. Breakfast)
After early breakfast at hotel, it's time to leave Bandung. You'll embark the Lodaya Executive Train to Yogyakarta (0800-1540). And on your arrival in Yogyakarta Train Station, meet-up with our Yogyakarta representative who will take you to your hotel in Yogyakarta for resting and overnight.
Day 6. Yogyakarta City Tour - Prambanan Temple Tour (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, your guide will pick you up to start Yogyakarta Morning City Tour visiting : Sultan Palace (Kraton), Water Castle (Taman Sari), Ngasem Traditional Bird Market and followed by observing Silversmith & Batik Processing at local artist. After lunch at local restaurant we continue to Prambanan Hindus Temple which was built on 850AD and also quick photo stop at Candi Sewu. Afterwards free time at Malioboro
street or return back to hotel.
Day 7. Borobudur Temple - Dieng Plateau Tour (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After early breakfast at 0700 we depart to Borobudur Buddhist Temple one of the forgotten Wonders of the World which was built on 800AD. Next we drive to Dieng Plateau via Magelang home of the National Army Academy and Temanggung. Enjoy dramatic scenery as we drive through the tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro Sumbing valley some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see. Here we will visit Java’s oldest Hindu Temples, dating from 8th century (Bima Temple, Gatotkaca Temple, Pandawa Temple & Arjuna Temple). See the active volcanic craters (Sikidang Crater) and also take in the beauty of the Telaga Warna (coloured) and Telaga Pengilon (mirror) lakes. Upon completion we return back to hotel in Yogyakarta for overnight.
Day 8. Drive to Solo - Sukuh & Cetho Temple - Sangiran Early Man Site (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and drive eastwards to Yogyakarta’s sister city of Solo, about 66 km from Yogyakarta. We then travel on through lovely countryside to discover the mystery of the 14th century Sukuh temple. Next, we go on up scenic, winding mountain road to another 14th century Hindu temple at Cetho to enjoy the beauty of its peaceful surroundings. We rejoin the coach, retrace to road to Sangiran where fossilized remains of Phitecantropus Erectus (Java Man) were found: a discovery claimed right up to today as the oldest human remains in Java. See the museum, which displays fossilized Stegadon tusks and teeth, and visit the site of excavation. Upon completion drive back to Solo for check-in and overnight in Solo.
Day 9. Solo City Tour - Kedung Songo Temple - Continue drive to Hotel in Salatiga (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast we check-out and will explore Solo City which is the center of art and culture in Central Java. First stop is Mangkunegaran Palace and second stop will be Kasunanan Palace that were built with the specific Java architecture which combined the Java and Europe ornaments. We will also visit Triwindu, an antique market which has many kinds of antique collections and Klewer market, which is the biggest batik and textile market in Java. After completion of city tour we leave Solo to visit Kedung Songo Temple "Nine Buildings" the most breathtaking archaeological site on Java. This location was chosen with great care for its magnificent views over north-central Java, encompassing Mount Ungaran (2050 meters), Lake Rawapening, Mount Merbabu (3142 meters), and hazy Mount Merapi (2914 meters). On clear days it´s even possible to see massive Mount Lawu in East Java. Here you will take a horseback to enjoy the scenery in the ancient temple complex. Upon completion we drive back to Salatiga to spend another night.
Day 10. Ambarawa Railway Museum - Fort Willem II - Bandungan Flower Market - Drive to Semarang (incl. Brealfast & Lunch)
Morning after breakfast, check-out and we'll visit Ambarawa Railway Museum, followed by visiting Fort Willem II which was built by the Dutch and also by Japanese between 1942-1946 as a camp for the Dutch men, women and children. From there we also visit Bandungan Flower Market before continue to drive to Semarang. Stay overnight in Semarang.
Day 11. Semarang - Out (incl. Breakfast)
Early check-out from the hotel to fly back to Jakarta by Lion Air JT511 0655-0755. End of services.
