Description:
Day 1. Arrival in Yogyakarta – Transfer in – Yogyakarta City Tour (incl. Lunch and Dinner)
On your arrival in Yogyakarta Airport, you will be greeted by our Yogyakarta representative and transferred to your hotel in Yogyakarta. At 10.00 we'll take you exploring the city to visit: SULTAN PALACE, TAMAN SARI (WATER CASTLE), NGASEM TRADITIONAL BIRD MARKET, SILVERSMITH & OBSERVING BATIK PROCESSING. Upon completion we return back to hotel. In the evening your welcome dinner will be arranged while also enjoying RAMAYANA BALLET PERFORMANCE a traditional performance about an endless love.
Day 2. Full Day Prambanan Temple Tour and smaller temples (incl. Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, we'll pick you up and visit PRAMBANAN HINDUS TEMPLE which was built on 850AD and also quick photo stop at CANDI SEWU. And after lunch at local restaurant we also will visit smaller unfamous yet interesting temples nearby Prambanan such as SAMBISARI TEMPLE, PLAOSAN and IJO more... TEMPLE. Those temples are built on the same age as Prambanan Temple which was during Mataram Dynasty. Upon completion we return back to hotel.
Day 3. Borobudur Temple and Dieng Plateau Tour (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After early breakfast at 0700 we depart to BOROBUDUR BUDDHIST TEMPLE one of the forgotten Wonders of the World which was built on 800AD. Next transfer to DIENG PLATEAU via Magelang - home of the National Army Academy - and Temanggung. Enjoy dramatic scenery as we drive through the tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro - Sumbing valley - some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see. Visit Java’s oldest Hindu Temples, dating from 8th century (BIMA TEMPLE, GATOTKACA TEMPLE, PANDAWA TEMPLE & ARJUNA TEMPLE). See the active volcanic craters (SIKIDANG CRATER) and also take in the beauty of the TELAGA WARNA (coloured) and TELAGA PENGILON (mirror) lakes. Afterward return back to hotel in Yogyakarta for overnight.
Day 4. Drive to Solo – Solo City Tour – Sukuh and Cetho Temple (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, we will leave Jogja heading to Solo (twin city of Jogja). Here we will visit the MANGKUNEGARAN PALACE with its fascinating display of gold – plated ornaments, jewelry and wooden masks. Next we will browse in the TRIWINDU FLEA MARKET before driving up hill to visit the magnificent of SUKUH TEMPLE and CETHO TEMPLE which took form similar shape as Maya architechture. Upon completion of the tour we will drive back to Solo where we will spend overnight.
Day 5. Morning Train to Surabaya – Transfer service to Mt Bromo area - Overnight in Mt Bromo (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After early breakfast, we check-out and leave Solo by Sancaka Executive Train to Surabaya. And once you reach Surabaya Gubeng Train Station, you will be guided to explore Surabaya the 2nd biggest city in Indonesia to visit city landmarks before drive out of town to Cemorolawang/Ngadisari village where we will stay overnight.
Day 6. Mt Bromo & Peak of Penanjakan Sunrise Tour - Long Drive to Ijen Crater area (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
Dawn in the morning at 0330 we will start the 4WD SUNRISE TOUR. Part of the tour will be conducted by 4WD Jeep to climb up the PENANJAKAN VIEWPOINT where you will be amazed by its beautiful sunrise cracking up from the east, crossing the SEA-OF-SAND, the tour finish with climbing up to the peak of MT BROMO. Upon completion at 0800 we will return back to your hotel for breakfast, repacking and leave for the long drive to Ijen Crater area (6-7 hrs drive). Once we reach Ijen, check-in at hotel and overnight.
Day 7. Soft Trekking at Ijen Crater - cross to Bali by Ferry - continue to drop off at your hotel in Bali (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
In the morning after breakfast short transfer to PALTUDING RANGER POST for starting Ijen soft trekking - IJEN CRATER shows a special type of volcanic feature common to Indonesia, about 1 km in diameter and 175 meters deep. The floor is covered completely by a warm lake, milky blue green in color, held back by a dam built many years ago by the Dutch, in order to keep the hot mineral, laden water from raining for the crop lands below. After finishing the unforgettable trip, we return to hotel for re-packing and check-out. Today you will also experienced crossing the Java-Bali strait by ferry, and once we reached GILIMANUK HARBOUR in Bali side, we continue drive further 3-4hrs to your hotel located in southern part of Bali for one night transit.
Day 8. Fly out to Makassar – Drive to Toraja Land (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After early breakfast (which probably will be served on a picnic style box), transfer service to Bali airport to catch your flight to MAKASSAR by GARUDA INDONESIA GA620 0700-0815. Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport, Meeting Service. Transfer directly to Toraja Land with 08 hours drive takes across the BUGIS VILLAGE with their houses on poles along the magnificent mountaionous ranges. Lunch will be served at Bukit Indah Restaurant in PARE-PARE or similar, a small port situated 155 kms north of Ujung Pandang. Refreshment at the Hill-Top of PUNCAK LAKAWAN and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Erotic mountain. Late Afternoon Arrive in Toraja Land , check-in to Hotel for overnight.
Day 9. Toraja Land Full Day Tour (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
Breakfast at hotel. Full day visiting : the stone grave with tau-tau installed on a high cliff balcony overlooking the green valley of the Toraja at LEMO, The royal family tombs at SUAYA. And then we continue on to royal family tombs at SUAYA. We shall then make a easy walk to see a giant-tree made as burial site for a new born-baby who died before teething at KAMBIRA
After Lunch, we drive to The traditional carving village at KETE KESU, Natural burial cave at LONDA. The typical village at NANGGALA with 16 rice-barns standing in a raw as a sign of their wealthy status in Toraja community. Then continue on to visit the ancient house-grave at MARANTE village. Late afternoon back to hotel for overnight.
Day 10. Toraja Land Full Day Tour (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel. Full day visiting ; the Traditional Toraja village with full buffalo horns in front of their houses at PALAWA, Traditional weaving village at SA’DAN, and the ancient Megalithic stone at BORI. Lunch will be served at local restaurant on the slope of Mount Sesean where you can also enjoy the terraced rice-fields with a fascinating mountainous view at BATUTUMONGA, After lunch, take a small trek from LOKOMATA to PANA and will be picked at the other side of the village at TIKALA then we transfer you back to hotel for overnight.
Day 11. Return transfer to Makassar – Fly to Bali (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
Breakfast at hotel. Leaving Toraja Land for Makassar. Lunch at Bukit indah Restaurant in Pare-Pare and directly to the Airport for your onward flight to DENPASAR, Bali by GARUDA INDONESIA GA625 1745-1900. Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport of Denpasar, pick-up by our Bali representative who will take you to your hotel for check-in and overnight.
Day 12. Bali Art & Volcano Tour (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
Today you will be guided to enjoy a colourful day to get you closer to different aspects of Balinese culture, such as ; traditional dances, handicraft villages, dramatic scenery of terraced rice fields, holy spring temple set in verdant valley, Balinese cuisine, and spectacular view of Mount Batur and its lake. Stops will be made at:
BATUBULAN (to witness the performance of Barong and Kris dance, symbolizing the eternal fight of good and evil), CELUK (the village of silver and goldsmiths famous for its intricate pattern made by old age traditional techniques), MAS (the centre of fine woodcarvings. Techniques are learned inside the family, passed from father to sons), UBUD (the colony of painters of different styles, whose themes taken from legends, mythologies and scenes of daily life), TEGALALANG (the dramatic scenery of terraced rice fields), SEBATU (the holy spring temple of Gunung Kawi, set in lush verdant valley). The highlight of this tour is KINTAMANI, a mountain village at 1400 meters above sea level overlooking the breathtaking view of the still active MOUNT BATUR and its lake. Upon completion of the tour, return back to hotel.
Day 13. Bali Romantic Tour of Bedugul to Tanah Lot (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
This tour combines the highlights of the exotic spices, fruits and flowers and also the stunning Sunset tour. Visiting on the way:
MENGWI (the royal temple of Taman Ayun), CANDI KUNING village market with displays of fruits, flowers, vegetables and spices, BEDUGUL (Bali's botanical garden, a 159 hectares garden with different kind of plants, trees, flowers, and cacti from all over the word), PURA ULUN DANU (the lake Goddess temple on the lake's shore), PACUNG (a mountain village with backdrops of rice fields and mountains), ALAS KEDATON (a sacred forest of monkeys and fruit bats) and TANAH LOT, a marine temple for Baruna, God of the sea.
Day 14. Mother Temple Tour (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
This tour will take you to places that have played prominent roles during long Balinese history and also a pilgrimage to Bali's holiest temple of Besakih, perched high on the slope of Mount Agung. This is mother of more than 300.000 temples of Bali. We will see such astonishing beauty of the island's countryside a long the way to get there. Stops will be made at:
GOA GAJAH (archaeological remains from XI century, also called Elephant Cave, formerly Hindu-Buddhist hermitage), KLUNGKUNG (the ancient Balinese Capital 1710-1908, with its court of justice (KERTAGOSA) and the floating pavilion (BALE KAMBANG) with best examples of classical Balinese painting on its murals), BESAKIH (the most sacred and the biggest of all temples of Bali lies on the slope of Mount Agung, the highest peak of the island) and BUKIT JAMBUL (crested hill) with nice view of the terraced rice fields, Indian Ocean and Nusa Penida Island.
Day 15. Free and Easy at Bali (incl. Breakfast)
After breakfast, it's free and easy time in Bali. You may indulge yourself utilizing hotels amenities or try to explore the area on your own.
Day 16. Bali – End of service (incl. Breakfast)
Today it's time for us to say goodbye to you after 2 weeks exploring part of Indonesia (Java, Sulawesi and Bali). We do really hope you could enjoy the whole program. Your driver should be ready to transfer you to the airport at the afternoon. -----End of services-----
