Sailing techniques may be based on science but sailing has also been defined as an art. Techniques come quickly but the art takes time. That's just one of the many things that makes learning to sail so rewarding. Sailing instruction is our only business. We don't operate a charter fleet or sell boats; we just do what we do best, teach people to sail - full time! If you have limited experience we will start by teaching you the basics in a professional, fun and supportive environment using modern, clean and well equipped cruising yachts. If you already have sailing experience we will review these skills with you and ensure that you progress at a pace suitable for you. This will give you a solid foundation from which to progress with confidence. A firm grasp of sailing fundamentals is essential to a long, safe and pleasurable cruising career. Conditions:
Fees include: professional, state of the art instruction on a modern, well equipped cruising yacht, up to date study materials, internationally recognised Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) certification, seal and logbook. All our courses also include the Coast Guard Operator Card at no extra cost. Our fully certified instructors are chosen especially for their patience and pleasant, friendly attitudes.
