Your instructor, Chef Doña Estela will teach you to prepare the family recipes passed down to her by her grandmother, Chef Doña Eulogia Silva Castillo, from the city of Puebla. You will learn how the marriage of three kitchens: Spanish, French and Indigenous has created a cuisine as intriguing and complex as Mexico’s own baroque heritage.
Conditions:
The fee for the basic stay of seven days/six nights is $1,250 (US Dollars) per person. This fee includes lodging, all meals, including wine, beer or margaritas and 5 cooking classes. You also receive the printed recipes and a culinary memento. Equipment and chefs aprons will be provided.
Responsible Action:
Mexican Home Cooking School is almost unique in Mexico; in that it is owned and run by a Mexican, teaching “traditional Mexican cuisine” from its basics.
