Description:

We are the ONLY professional river outfitter in California to offer this kind of trip, and we welcome your exploring and experiencing the best that our community has to offer!

We will visit 3-5 wineries, we stop and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch, after lunch we will visit another 3-4 wineries and head back to camp for a delicious Atlantic Salmon and Tri-Tip Barbeque dinner.

Our rafting day has plenty of excitement as we will go through these descriptive rapids on the South Fork - Meatgrinder, Triple Threat and the infamous Troublemaker. Our trip concludes with a big barbecue lunch back at camp.

El Dorado County is home to some of the finest wineries in California. These wine makers have earned a national reputation for numerous varietals, and it is this quality that has inspired us to offer our Red Wine – Whitewater River trips this year.

Conditions:

Great for the first-time rafter as well as experienced paddlers, groups of friends, and company team building outings

CLASS III+ (Intermediate: Medium Intensity Whitewater - 11 Miles)

Other Considerations:

Central California, One hour east of Sacramento near Coloma
Difficulty: Class III, Beginner/Intermediate
Available daily, Mid-April through October
Minimum Age: 21 Years Old (Legal age for alcohol in California)

Please Note: If you and/or members of your group wish to tackle a more difficult river, such as the Middle or North Forks of the American, those rivers can be incorporated into our Red Wine – White Water River Trips also.
