Description:
Day 1 : Arrival in Jakarta – Transfer to Hotel in Jakarta
Upon arrival in Jakarta, you will be greeted with our guide at the International Hall Meeting Area then together with him you will be transferred to your hotel in Jakarta for check-in and overnight for releasing your Jet Lag.
Day 2 : Jakarta Old and New City Tour – Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park – Overnight in Puncak Highland (incl. Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast we will observe the capital of Indonesia – Jakarta. We will bring you to see at glance the old and new Jakarta. Old Jakarta is the beginning of present Jakarta Metropolitan city with population around 14 million people. Our tour will be visiting: The old Sunda Kelapa Phinisi Port, Museum Bahari and Jakarta History Museum where the remnants and historical facts of Jakarta are preserved and Old square of Batavia where most of the ancient building especially during the Dutch colonization of Indonesia were located on this more... area. Afterward we will drive south way to see the modern skyskrappers which will make a contrast view and also which represent the current Jakarta. After lunch at local restaurant we will visit Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park. It's a good example to quickly learn about Indonesia, about its islands and its people. Upon completion of the tour we will drive up hill to Puncak Highland where we will stay overnight.
Day 3 : Transfer to Bandung – Mt Tangkuban Perahu – Angklung Mang Udjo Performance - Afternoon Bandung City Tour (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and leave Puncak to Bandung. Once in Bandung we will drive up to visit Tangkuban Perahu Volcano, an active volcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung , where you can ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs upclose, and buy eggs cooked on its hot surface. Then we're return back to the city for lunch and once we reach Bandung, we will take you to Saung Angklung Mang Udjo in Padasuka village to watch the Angklung performance. Beside Angklung, there are other performances like Wayang Golek or Wood Puppets, Tari Topeng and you will also play Angklung which guided by the instructor together with Elementary-Junior high School students. It’s a fun experience! After completion of the tour we will sightseeing in the city to see the landmarks such as: Villa Isola and Gedung Sate (both are unique example of neo-classical architechture) before drive to hotel for overnight.
Day 4 : Cangkuang Temple – Kampung Naga – Transfer to Pangandaran Beach (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, we check-out and leave Bandung to Garut town to visit Cangkuang Temple. It is one of West Java's oldest monuments. Beautifully situated near Leles north of Garut, Cangkuang is a magical visit back to old Sundanese roots. From there we continue our tour to Kampung Naga, In spite of its proximity to modern society Kampung Naga has retained its traditional custom over the centuries. The odd residents if Kampung Naga maintained one of the few villages built according to the very old Sundanese custom. All the 102 houses are laid out in neat rows each has same size and the same style. The walls are made of bamboo as using brick is considered taboo. Furnishing houses is not allowed as it is against their ancestor custom. Upon completion, we drive to Pangandaran Beach for check-in and overnight at the beach side hotel.
Day 5 : Green Canyon Boat Tour – Transfer to Baturaden village (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel we check-out and start the tour to Green Canyon. A half day river trip to Green Canyon offers an adventurous experience, westward to Cijulang village (15 km from Pangandaran). From here we will take a boat trip up the river to Green Canyon through dense woods in very cold water and a beautiful nature environment. The river ends in a cavern blocked by huge rocky stones and high cliff that ressembles an underground tunnel full of stalactite and stalagmites. The tunnel is about 100 meter long and above it water comes showering down from the tree roots. Upon completion of the tour we transfer to Baturaden village for check-in and overnight.
Day 6 : Dieng Plateau and its Pandawa Temples Tour – Transfer to Borobudur village (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and drive to Dieng Plateau via Wonosobo. Enjoy dramatic scenery as we drive through the tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro - Sumbing valley - some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see. Visit Java’s oldest Hindu Temples, dating from 8th century (Bima Temple, Gatotkaca Temple, Pandawa Temple & Arjuna Temple). See the active volcanic craters (Sikidang Crater) and also take in the beauty of the Telaga Warna (coloured) and Telaga Pengilon (mirror) lakes. Upon completion of the tour we transfer to Borobudur village for check-in and overnight at Manohara Hotel, Borobudur.
Day 7 : Borobudur Sunrise – Mendut & Pawon Temple Tour – Prambanan Temple – Exploring Yogyakarta nightlife at Jalan Malioboro (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
Early morning start climbing up Borobudur Temple to admire the beautiful sunrise. Afterward return back to hotel for having a breakfast, check-out and visit Mendut & Pawon Temple not so far from Borobudur. From there we will continue our trip to visit Prambanan Temple in Yogyakarta. Upon completion of the tour we will take you to the famous Jalan Malioboro and do evening city tour by Becak. From there we proceed to hotel in Yogyakarta for check-in and overnight.
Day 8 : Kraton (Yogyakarta Palace) – Taman Sari (Water Castle) – Sukuh & Cetho Temple – Solo (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and Tour to Kraton (Yogyakarta Palace), continue tour to Taman Sari (Water Castle) and observing Batik processing in Yogyakarta. Then we drive to Karanganyar regency for visiting Sukuh & Cetho Temple. Candi Sukuh (Temple) is a strange and mysterious Hindu temple built on the slopes of the mountain Gunung Lawu, about 35km east of Solo (Surakarta) in central Java, Indonesia. Built in the 15th century, Candu Sukuh looks like no other Javanese temple. It has a Mayan appearance from Central America. It is a fertility temple and contains some fairly explicit stone carvings. While Candi Cetho is similar in form as the previous Candi Sukuh but it also has its own interesting features (acoustic phenomenon). Upon completion of the tour we stay overnight at Sahid Kusuma Prince Hotel, Solo
Day 9 : Solo – Train to Surabaya – Transfer to Mt Bromo Area (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After early breakfast at hotel, check-out and our journey continue by taking a train to Surabaya. Once we reach Surabaya, meet up with your driver & continue drive to Cemorolawang village at the edge of Tengger Caldera, Mt Bromo area overlooking the Bromo volcano. Tonight you will spent your night at the cool and breeze yet offering splendid view of Mt Bromo.
Day 10 : Mt Bromo & Peak of Penanjakan Sunrise Tour – Transfer to Kalibaru village (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
Very early morning, start Mt. Bromo & Peak of Penanjakan Sunrise Tour. The tour is conducted through a transfer to Cemara Lawang village, and descending the steep slope of Mt. Tengger, crossing the sea-of-sand, and climbing up 245 steps to reach the awesome rim crater where we wait for the sunrise cracking up the day through its rays from the eastern range of Mt. Tengger. From here a marvelous views of Mt. Bromo and its surrounding can be seen (subject to the weather). After enjoying the sunrise back to the hotel to have breakfast and short break. At 1000 it’s the best time for check-out and continues our trip south east direction to Kalibaru village. Along the way we will pass the typical of villages in East Java with their plantations. Once we reached Kalibaru village around 1600-1700, check-in at Margo Utomo Resort which is a small and traditional lodging, built in Javanese traditional style with private balcony, private bathroom with hot and cold water and shower. It has also its own swimming pool and restaurant
Day 11 : Kalibaru village – Offroad drive to Sukamade Beach inside Meru Betiri National Park (incl. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
After breakfast we take our time for Mini Plantation Tour featuring coffee, cacao and tropical spices before heading to Sukamade Beach. Along the way, you may see endless plantation of coffee, cacao, and traditional rubber tapping. You may even travel through dense Meru Betiri National Forest where the last Javanese tigers are still believed to roam the area. Stay overnight at simple Sukamade Guesthouse. After simple dinner at the guesthouse, proceed to the Sukamade beach for the turtle excursion (sightings are not guaranteed). See the turtles slowly walk up ashore to lay their eggs. Then back to the guesthouse for overnight.
Day 12 : Sukamade Beach – Ijen crater area (incl. Breakfast and Lunch)
After simple breakfast at the guest house, you will be given the opportunity to set out the baby turtle free to their natural habitat. And then we will check-out and drive to Ijen crater area crossing the beautifully coffee plantation. Upon arrival in hotel, check-in and overnight.
Day 13 : Ijen Crater Soft Trekking – Ferry crossing to Bali – Drive to Lovina Beach (incl. Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast, check-out and start Ijen (2,400 m) Excursion. We drive to Pal Tuding, the last monitoring station, from which you supposed to take a-3 km trek to the crater. Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style). This volcano offers a savannah landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow crater-lake. The summit of Mt. Ijen is a gorgeous crater filled with haunting turquoise-blue lake with its surface streaked in the wind blow patterns of yellow sulfur vapor. By the Crater Lake edge, there is evil-smelling sulfur where local people are digging and carrying 70-80 kilos on their bare shoulders for 2 miles ascending and descending steep Mt. Ijen wall. Upon completion, we continue drive to Ketapang Harbour where we will cross the Java-Bali strait by Ferry. And from Gilimanuk (Bali's side), we drive to Lovina Beach on the northern part of Bali to stay over night.
Day 14-15 : Free and Easy at Lovina Beach (incl. Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel. It's time to enjoy surf, sea and sand on one of Bali's most charming beaches. Take a boat out to see dolphins, snorkel or scuba dive along the reef or visit a Buddhist monastery nearby (optional activities).
Day 16 : Lovina – Padang Bai – Ferry crossing to Lombok – Drive to Kuta Beach on the southern part of Lombok (incl. Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, we will leave Lovina and drive along northern coast to reach Padang Bai Ferry Harbour. Embark the ferry and take a 4-5 hrs journey to cross to Lombok island. Once you arrive in Lembar Harbour, we will continue the journey to Kuta beach on the southern part of Lombok.
Day 17 : Sasak Primitive Tour (incl. Breakfast and Lunch)
After your breakfast at hotel, you will have a comprehensive tour beginning with a visit to the village of Sukarara, a traditional weaving village where the cloth is made for their everyday sarongs. Next is Penujak Pottery Village, where they make pottery for their everyday use - simple in design and primitive in style. Then continue south to the traditional Sasak Village of Sengkol and Rambitan where you can see the locals live in hyperbolic shaped, thatched huts, before return back to Kuta Beach area. In Kuta we have arranged your lunch at local restaurant. For the energetic, climb the promontory for the spectacular views over bays and beaches. Afternoon, we return to hotel and rest.
Day 18 : Kuta Beach – Mataram City Tour – Drive to Bangsal Harbour via Senggigi Beach – by Outrigger boat to Gili Trawangan (incl. Breakfast and Lunch)
Today after breakfast we will leave Kuta area for a half day tour covering some destination in west Lombok such as: Mayura, the royal floating palace (Bale Kambang) of the former Balinese kingdom which was built in 1714. Narmada, this historical place is use to be a palace of Anak Agung Gede Ngurah, one of Balinese king which was built in 1805. Here you see a miniature of Mount Rinjani and Segara Anak lake with a holy temple on the top. Then on to Lingsar, this is a unique and sacred temple of to belief, Hindus and Moslem Waktu Telu who worship together in one place for their own belief. It was built around 1714. Bertais Market, the biggest daily market in Lombok and center of trading. Many things are available here such as fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices, rice and fish, local artifacts etc. Upon completion of the tour, we will drive to Bangsal Harbour which from here our journey continue by traditional outrigger boat to cross to Gili Trawangan island. After check-in the day is yours.
Day 19 : Free and Easy at Gili Trawangan (incl. Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel. It's time to again enjoying surf, sea and sand on one of the most tranquil beach. Take a cidomo (traditional horse cart), snorkel or scuba dive along the reef or just being lazy sunbathing on the clean sandy beach (optional activities).
Day 20 : Gili Trawangan – Senggigi (incl. Breakfast)
Today we will check-out from Gili Trawangan and by outrigger boat back to Lombok main island. Here we will drive to Senggigi beach area just to make closer distant to the airport so we can reach the morning flight to Labuan Bajo, Flores on the next morning.
Day 21 : Senggigi – Airport – Fly to Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island (incl. Lunch and Dinner)
Early morning we'll leave hotel to catch our flight to Labuan Bajo in western tip of Flores. It's a TransNusa flight I8731 at 0700-0910. And once we arrive at Komodo Airport, Labuan Bajo – meeting service with our representatif and transfer to the pier of Labuan Bajo for Rinca Island. Lunch will be served on board. The journey will be about 2 hour sail to the island of Komodo Dragon. And once we reach Rinca Island start trekking and walking through the typical dry forest to explore the Island of Komodo dragon. Here you will find not just the Dragons but also many wild animals like deers, wildbuffalo, long-tailed macaque and wild pig plus also numerous of birds. Keep your eyes look up as sometime you will find the young Komodo dragons on the trees. However a professional local ranger will lead you through this natural preservation. Dinner and overnight on boat.
Day 22 : Komodo Island – Pink Beach – Labuan Bajo (incl. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
After having breakfast in boat, we sail directly to Loh Liang – the Ranger station in Komodo Island. The journey itself will passing through many small exotic islands. And it will be 2½ hours to reach the pier of Komodo Island. After registering we start the trekking again to see the KOMODO DRAGON and other wild animals such as: Timor deer, wild pig, wild chicken and many variously of tropical bird. Please keep your look at any directions as sometimes you will also find young Komodo dragon hanging over the trees. A local ranger will be led you during the trek. Upon completion we return back to the boat and head on to Pink beach for snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. It is really spectacular and unspoiled coral reef and many color fish. Lunch will be provided on board. Late in the afternoon back to Labuan Bajo harbor and transfer to hotel.
Day 23 : Labuan Bajo – Fly to Denpasar – Overnight in southern part of Bali (incl. Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel, we'll take you to the airport for your flight to Bali by TransNusa I8733 (1400-1530). And upon arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport of Denpasar, Bali you'll be picked-up by our driver who will escort you to your hotel in the southern part of Bali.
Day 24-25 : Free and Easy in Bali (incl. Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel and after the 20 days of adventurous journey together it's time to laid back and relaxed. Numerous and countless optional activities are available.
Day 26 : Transfer service to Denpasar Airport (incl. Breakfast)
Today it's time for you to return home. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the airport so you can continue your journey to another destination or flight home. End of services.
