Description:
Day 1. Arrival – Transfer in
Arrival in Yogyakarta, meet & transfer to Hotel for check-in.
Day 2. City Tour + Ketep Pass – Transfer to Borobudur (BLD)
After breakfast at hotel check-out and start Yogyakarta City Tour visiting :
Sultan Palace, Taman Sari (Water Castle), Ngasem Traditional Bird Market, Silversmith & Batik Processing. After lunch transfer to Mt Merapi Observatory at Babadan and also Ketep Pass. From there we continue to Manohara Hotel at Borobudur village for check-in and overnight.
Day 3. Borobudur Sunrise Tour – Dieng Plateau Tour – Transfer to Yogyakarta (BLD)
Early in the morning at 0500 start trekking up Borobudur Temple to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the top of the temple (if weather is permitted). After breakfast at hotel, check out and depart via Magelang - home of the National Army Academy - and Temanggung. Enjoy dramatic scenery as we drive through the tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro more... - Sumbing valley - some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see. Visit Java’s oldest Hindu Temples, dating from 8th century (Bima Temple, Gatotkaca Temple, Pandawa Temple & Arjuna Temple). See the active volcanic craters (Sikidang Crater) and also take in the beauty of the Telaga Warna (coloured) and Telaga Pengilon (mirror) lakes.
After dinner at local restaurant return back to hotel in Yogyakarta for overnight.
Day 4. Malioboro Street – Prambanan Temple + Ratu Boko Temple Sunset or Ramayana Ballet Performance (BLD)
After breakfast at hotel, visit Malioboro street to bargain and buy a lot of cheap local handicraft, batiks, etc. After lunch continue to Prambanan Hindus Temple which was built on 850AD and also quick photo stop at Candi Sewu.
Afterwards transfer to Ratu Boko Temple to enjoy the beautiful sunset (if weather is permitted) OR watching the Ramayana Ballet Performance at Prambanan Theatre (can switch to Day 1-4) and return back to hotel for overnight.
Day 5. Transfer out – Departure (B)
After breakfast, Free time until check-out time and transfer out to airport
