Description:
Day 01. Arrival in Yogyakarta – Transfer to hotel
Arrival in Yogyakarta, meet & transfer to hotel for check-in.
Day 02. Dieng Plateau Tour – Drive to Borobudur (incl. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Distance = 235 km
After early breakfast at hotel & quick orientation with your motorbike, we will leave Yogyakarta and drive via Magelang - home of the National Army Academy - and Temanggung. Enjoy dramatic scenery as we drive through the tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro - Sumbing valley - some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see. Visit Java’s oldest Hindu Temples, dating from 8th century
After early breakfast at hotel we drive via Magelang - home of the National Army Academy - and Temanggung. Enjoy dramatic scenery as we drive through the tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro - Sumbing valley - some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see. Visit Java’s oldest Hindu Temples, dating from 8th century (Bima more... Temple, Gatotkaca Temple, Pandawa Temple & Arjuna Temple). See the active volcanic craters (Sikidang Crater) and also take in the beauty of the Telaga Warna (colored) and Telaga Pengilon (mirror) lakes. After that we will continue trip to Borobudur for check-in and overnight.
Day 03. Borobudur Sunrise – Prambanan & Plaosan Temple – Drive to Solo (incl. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Distance = 150 km
Early in the morning at 0500 start trekking up Borobudur Temple to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the top of the temple (if weather is permitted). After breakfast at hotel, check out and continue drive to Yogyakarta for City Tour visiting: Sultan Palace, Taman Sari (Water Castle), Ngasem Traditional Bird Market, Silversmith & observing Batik Processing.
After that we will drive to Solo with visiting Prambanan Hindus Temple which was built on 850AD and quick photo stop at Candi Sewu en route.
Once we reach Solo, proceed to hotel for check-in and overnight
Day 04. Solo City Tour – Sukuh & Cetho Temple – Drive to Yogyakarta (incl. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After simple breakfast and check-out from hotel, we start the program Solo City Tour visiting: Kraton Solo, Klewer traditional market & Laweyan Batik Village. After that we will continued to Sukuh “Erotic” Hindus Temple which was built on 1437AD some years after Majapahit Kingdom collapsed. The temple has a trapezium shape with similar shape as the Inca temple in Mexico, South America. There are also many erotic reliefs however; they carry on the value of sexual education in a primitive manner. And not to forget visiting Cetho Temple. Next transfer to Yogyakarta
Day 05. Yogyakarta City Tour – Ratu Boko Temple & Ijo Temple (incl. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast at hotel then start Yogyakarta City Tour visiting: Sultan Palace, Taman Sari (Water Castle), Ngasem Traditional Bird Market, Silversmith & Batik Processing. We will continue to Ratu Boko Temple which is one of the fascinating ancient temples in Yogyakarta. It showcases the rich cultural and architectural traditions of Indonesia and is a popular tourist attraction of Yogyakarta visited by thousands every year. It also displays a blend of Hindu and Buddhist architectural elements indicating the extensive spread of both religions in Indonesia, once upon a time. Next to Ijo Temple was built in around the ninth century on a hill named the Green Hill of which height is 410 meters above the sea level.
After that we will drive back to hotel.
Day 06. Hotel – Transfer out (incl. Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel, free time until it’s time for you to leave the hotel and we will take you to the airport for taking your return/onward flight.
