About Me
I have been working in this industry for over 12 years now. Having grown up on the rivers of Nepal and trained as a kayak and raft guide I decided it was about time we went about things ourselves!
Rather than using a western agent who would keep up to 70% of your money, we guarentee 100% of what you spend stays in Nepal, benefiting local communities. And we hope unlike other 'herd them in, herd them our' tour companies we will make you feel like a local and show you what Nepal really has to offer...the culture, the people, the temples, the adventure. We are sure you will be back many times!

Unlike many Western companies, here at GRG's we are 100% local, from the guy that books your trip in the offer, the person that drives you to the river, your raft guide, your trekking porters, your bus drivers, your safari guide..All Nepali! And unlike many others we pay them fairly, everytime.
We also source all our produce locally benefiting small communities that would not usually get a look in on the tourism board and hire our porters in the villages we travel through rather than from the cities.
We never buy logs from villages so as not to encourage deforestation and never leave a trace as to where we have stayed, taking all our rubbish back to the city to despose of responsibily,
On the rivers we make sure our toilets are dug far from the rivers so that they do not get contaminated.
We also make sure that the local communities get involved in our trips.
We want to continue rafting, cycling, trekking and doing all the things that we love for geberations to come and we appreciate that if we do not act responsibly the country that we love wil be changed irreversibly, so it is in ours and your own interests to be careful with this enchanting country and give it the respect it deserves
